Vintage Capezios... Just the Name Sends My Little Heart Soaring!

Why, why, why can I not find anything on the internet about my beloved Capezios?  I am absolutely sure that little old Tucson was not the only city captivated by these little ballet styled flats.  I think most every girl in my junior high school (Fickett Falcons- ha!) was obsessed with trying to own a pair.  Remember Baker Fakers?  Baker's Shoe Stores made knock offs of a few selected styles of Capezios.  Oh, and of course, also made knock offs of our beloved Bass Wejuns!I am making myself "giddy" just blogging about it!  Okay, it's a test... how many pairs can you name?

Trios
Window Panes
Petal Ties
Petal Straps

I will add as I remember....
I have one pair of pink Petal Ties in my shoe closet/shrine.  Donated to me by the awesome and generous Barbara Phillips. She also gave me the shoe box lid.... Must photograph shoes for all to adore!  Until then, here is a shot of the box lid.  I am happy!

see i remember Capezios just as dance shoes - ballet slippers in pink, with the tiny little bow.
